NAIOP SoCal's annual mentorship program is designed to bring together young commercial real estate professionals with industry veterans to form relationships that lead to personal and professional growth for both the mentor and mentee.

1 Meeting between Mentor and Mentee per Month | 3 In-Person Networking Events with industry leaders

Mentees

The program enables NAIOP SoCal members who are Developing Leaders (under 35 years of age) to enhance their career progression by amplifying skills and abilities required for leadership.

Mentees are hand-chosen, high-achievers who remain motivated to take control over their professional development.  The partnership between the mentor and mentee is built upon a foundation of trust, respect, confidentiality and professionalism, and mentees are encouraged to build a relationship with their mentor above and beyond this program.

Mentee Participation Fee: $250 (covers food, drinks and three events throughout the year)

Mentors

The program goals are for the mentor to share life lessons, serve as a sounding board for professional and personal challenges and provide mentees exposure to experiences or people that they might not traditionally experience in their current position.

Previous mentors have included a cross-section of CRE industry veterans, including over 15+ NAIOP SoCal Board members, who volunteered and committed their personal time to make the NAIOP mentorship experience meaningful for their mentees.
